WACHAU STANDARD TOUR PROGRAMS:
The Danube snakes its way through a beautiful valley creating the perfect micro-climate for wine growing. Due to the steep hillside winegrowers have formed the landscape into an impressive patchwork of steep wine terraces.
Wine production can be traced many hundreds of years back in time and relics from the ancient past can be found all across the valley as well as historical landmarks such as villages, castles, abbeys, churches, chapels, battlefield memorials, and more.
This exciting combination of history, wine and stunning landscape has rightfully placed the valley on UNESCO’s world heritage Iist.

Good to know:
- This is a comfortable driving tour with very little walking, however, do wear your most comfortable shoes.
- Time is set aside for a lunch and reservations for a table at a great restaurant will be made ahead of time. Lunch costs are not included in the rates.
- The tour is with a luxurious van and with a dedicated driver.
EXCLUSIVE WACHAU PROGRAM:

- 09:00: We pick you up at your hotel and we set off for Wachau in a luxurious van. The first stop and one of the highlights of the program is the stunning baroque Melk Abbey with its jaw dropping gold and marble covered halls.
- 12:00: Just below the abbey lies the charming baroque town of Melk. a perfect place for lunch before we set off for the river cruise.
- River cruise on the Danube from Melk to Spitz lasts just under 1 hour and is a wonderfully scenic way to enter the valley.
- Scenic drive through the valley with wine tasting at two local wine producers, exploration of the famous Dürnstein village and many great photo stops.
- 18:00: Return to Vienna and drop off at your hotel.

- 10:00: We pick you up at your hotel and we set off for Wachau in a luxurious van. We begin our exploration of the valley after approximately 1 hour drive from Vienna.
- Scenic drive through the valley with wine tasting at a local wine producer and exploration of the famous Dürnstein village with many great photo stops.
- 16:00: Return to Vienna and drop off at your hotel.
